Pilot Walk
On Sunday 15 September at 10am there will be a pilot walk of the Sandringham to Brighton Community Pathway.
This will be a casual and relaxed walk along the existing track, to introduce residents and walkers alike to the beauty of the walk, and to meet like-minded walkers and lovers of nature.
It will be at a casual walking pace and you can finish the walk at anytime along the way. There will be no support crew, trail markers or anything like that. We are just a group of interested people walking the pathway together.
Please wear appropriate shoes, hat and sunscreen, and bring water. There is a toilet at our meeting point in Scott Park, Sandringham, and at Leo Smith Reserve, Ramsgate.
We will meet at 10am at Scott Park, Sandringham and conclude at Bicentennial Park, Rockdale about 2 hours later. We recommend that if you are travelling by car, to leave your car at the Bicentennial Park carpark on West Botany Street before the walk begins.
We hope to see you there!
